It?s been another hectic off-season and AMR Renault Racing is set to launch into its strongest-ever season this week, and its third in the National Road Series. After making major strides in 2015 the squad is back in force in 2016, with a core of familiar names in both our riding and supporter ranks ? including brand new team cars from major sponsors AMR Renault ? together with several significant additions set to further enhance the team?s strength and influence on and off the bike.
Just some of the team?s new partners for 2016 include TORQ Performance Nutrition and Today?s Plan, who recently teamed up with Trek-Segafredo on the UCI WorldTour. We?re also thrilled to welcome the services of two Sports Performance Managers into the fold, Hamish Gorman and Angus Burrell, from FTP Training.
The 2016 season begins with the bulk of our squad in action at the Australian National Road Championships in Ballarat and NZ Elite Nationals in Napier. Several of the team will then start in the UCI 2.2 NZ Cycle Classic beginning on January 20. The move of the Grafton to Inverell Classic to May also changes the dynamic of the first half of the NRS season, so it?s exciting times for everyone.
Watch this space. And definitely watch this team.
