  • Wollemi Cycle Trail – Wollemi, NSW

This trails allows cyclists to visit some of the small towns inland from Katoomba. Taking through the Newnes Plateau and the Glow Worm Tunnel, finishing up cycling through an isolated valley. The trail is 442km and takes about six days to complete.

  • Victorian Alps Cycle Trail, VIC

One for the experienced riders, the trail explores Ned Kelly country and gives extended views over the Victorian countryside and mountains. Climbing over 6100m, this one’s not for the faint of heart. Experienced riders recommend starting at Albury, as the climb up Mount Hotham is spread over 50km instead of 20km. Accommodation is available along the way, but camping allows you to really enjoy the alpine scenery.

This 40km road route takes you through the Chase National Park, with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, Pittwater and Palm Beach.

Know as one of the world’s longest continuous off-road cycle tracks, Munda Biddi translates to ‘path through the forest’ in the Aboriginal Noongar language. Munda Biddi wends its way through 1000km from Mundaring to Albany. It can be tackled in many ways; short term rides, shuttle cars or camp on sites with amenities.

This on-road ride through Australia’s far north traverses through mountain ranges, coastline and rainforests. The total ride is 1600km long, but some opt for the shorter 65km coastal leg between Cook Highway, Cairns to Port Douglas.

The Tasmanian Trail takes you from Devonport to Dover, immersing you into winding green Tasmanian national parks and state forests. The trail is broken into 16 sections and make for an easy day’s ride, but experienced riders can complete two a day.
