CharterMason Drapac Development Team Warmly Welcomes Trans-Tasman Recruit, Hardy Michel!
Hardy Michel Born in Australia, raised in New Zealand, Hardy Michel has without a doubt learnt to ride on some of the most picturesque roads in the world. It wasn?t until 2007 however, that Hardy, following in his father?s footsteps and began riding. Quickly becoming the rider to watch, he has gone on to win the New Zealand Nationals and represent New Zealand internationally as a junior, before his finest achievement to date, winning the New Zealand Junior Criterium Championship in 2010. Hardy now has his eyes set on the Australian 2013 National Road Series, where he will represent the CharterMason Drapac Development Team. As well as riding for the team this year, Hardy will be studying at Monash University, undertaking a Bachelor of Business and Information Systems. We are all very excited to see him develop on and off the bike, and look forward to watching him race competitively on the Australian racing circuit this year, and in years to come. We are positive there are only bigger and better things for Hardy in the near future, and his name will without a doubt become one known in every house in the upcoming years.
