The Hitec Products team were again on the podium at the Energiewacht Tour after great team work saw Chloe Hosking sprint to third behind Kirstin Wild (Argos-Shimano) and Jolien Dhoore (Lotto Belisol Ladies) today. After a 21km morning time-trial the Hitec Products women took to the start line again this afternoon for a 77km circuit race in Appingedam. The race was fast from the beginning with an average speed of almost 39km/hr. The Hitec Products women were aggressive throughout the stage with Emilia Fahlin escaping with a select group of riders with just under 7 kilometres to race. Emilie Moberg, Thea Thorsen and?JOHNSEN Cecilie Gotaas?were also aggressive throughout the race and always prominent at the front of the peloton.? Despite the teams best attempts the race came back together for a messy mass sprint. Chloe, while having to time her run to the line late, finished off the teams hard work with another podium place. ?The girls were so great today!? Chloe said. ?We had a pretty simple tactic ? get to the front and attack ? and the girls did a fantastic job. They were always at the front and always in moves,? ?I think today was the best we have raced together as a team all year and it feels great to be able to come away with another podium after all their hard work,? Chloe said. The Hitec Products women line up for the penultimate 134.6km stage of the Energiewacht Tour from Uithuizen to Eemsmond tomorrow.
