Clarke Wins Stage Four of the Tour de Taiwan


William Clarke has powered to his second stage victory in Stage Four of the Tour de Taiwan from Nantou to Xiang-Shan Visitor Centre.

This result takes the teams tally of stage victories at the Tour de Taiwan to nine and the number of stage victories this season to four.

“It was a bit of a bad day with the weather with rain for most of it. But we followed the bigger moves at the start. I actually attacked with 1.2km’s to go managing to create a big gap and hold them off”, says Clarke.

Tomorrow?s stage five is one hundred and forty six kilometres from Jianshanpi Resort to Wuai Rukai Museum.
