Powering into its 10th year of racing, the Data#3 Cisco Racing Team p/b Scody is enthusiastic about 2016 being its biggest year yet, with a quality list of Australasian and ?international races.

?We?re really excited about this year,? said Team Director, Terence Bonner. ?2015 was a big learning year for us at national and international level, developing contacts, seeing what the UCI continental licence can bring to riders and sponsors and the opportunity for riders to step up. We had some fantastic results with a number of UCI wins and am really pleased that the core of the team has progressed forward. Our roster is ?leaner? in 2016 but bang on when we look at the amount of quality and variety of racing we provide to the riders ? it is great to offer up this race program to the riders through the key 3 phases of racing during what is a very long season ? Australasia, Europe and Asia. I?m very interested in seeing as many take this opportunity for results and also continuing their personal development in carrying themselves professionally off the bike.?

Global IT leader, Cisco has re-partnered with Data#3 as the team?s co-naming rights sponsor, and will help to not only promote the benefits of cycling to its employee network, but also showcase the benefits and abilities of two multi-national IT powerhouses to an international community of cyclists and fans that are no doubt connected to their products in some way on a daily basis.

The team enters into its sixth year with Australian owned and manufactured sporting apparel brand, SCODY, who like the team, are Brisbane based and are as dedicated to high performance and quality as the team is and will continue to work alongside the riders and staff to help develop their core range of cycling apparel.? ?SCODY value the long term and productive associations? Managing Director at SCODY, Bernard Schreiber says, ?and recognise the close relationship we have developed with the team over the years. The teams? contribution to product development helps the SCODY research team to keep creating better products for bike riders.?

Adam Allen, who is now in his 6th year with the team, has stepped up to take on the challenge of a dual role as Team Manager and Rider and is adamant that without the support the sponsors offer, the team wouldn?t be able to achieve the results it does or attend the wide berth of races both in Australia and overseas across the year.

?We?re incredibly lucky to have the support we do,? said Allen. ?The fact that the team is in its tenth year shows that we?ve got a loyal, stable and incredibly supportive group of partners. This makes my job as team manager that much more consistent knowing we have the support in place to develop the riders we have and showcase some amazing products and partners right around the world. Also, it?ll be great with work closely with and learn from the highly experienced Peter Zijerveld ?- as Sports Director for the team ?- and the individual personal coaches of our riders.?

Joining Data#3 and Cisco on the ?sponsor roster? this year are numbers of returning and new partners, all who are bringing something special to the team to help achieve our goals. As with all sporting teams, we encourage everyone to support those that support the sport of cycling!
