After a dominating performance in the 2014 Australian National Road Series, the Holden Women?s Cycling Team is proud to announce its rider roster for 2015. Six new signings and two returning riders will make up the eight rider squad. Newly signed riders for 2015 include New Zealander and current NZ Team Pursuit member Racquel Sheath, former Australian National Team representative Louisa Lobigs, 2014 Australian Master?s Cyclist of the Year Laurelea Moss, former Victorian junior track representative Ruby-Marie Greig-Hurtig, transitioning former elite triathlete Emily Cust and former Holden team member and Commonwealth Games representative for Scotland Lucy Coldwell. In addition to the six new signing?s the team can confirm the return of 2014 squad members Shannon Malseed and Joanne Tralaggan. The team will also be bolstered by the experienced Miranda Griffiths who will continue to guest ride with the team for the remainder of the 2015 summer. ?We?ve put together a strong squad with some great up and coming talent. I?m super excited to see how this group develops over the course of the year.? commented General Manager Julien Knuppel. On the sponsorship front, Holden Australia has renewed its commitment as the naming rights sponsor which sees the successful partnership move into its fourth consecutive year. Specialized Australia have also continued their support with the team set to ride their women?s performance specific Amira bikes and equipment. The team will be announcing additional partnerships in the coming weeks which will see a new look team kit and further sponsor support.
