It is with great sadness that Richie Porte has abandoned the 2018 Tour de France after a crash on stage 9, this comes after he was involved in a crash early on in the race. Richie also crashed out of the 2017 Tour de France on Stage 9. We wish him all the best for his recovery and hope we will see him back in France next year.
We have great respect for our Australian rider and hope BMC can still have a great rest of tour.
