CYLANCE-INCYCLE P/B CANNONDALE ANNOUNCES THREE NEW RIDERS TO 2017 TEAM

Showing continued support and commitment to cycling nationwide,
Cylance-Incycle p/b Cannondale is proud to announce the signing Eric
Marcotte, Karl Menzies and Scott Law to the 2017 roster. Through their
guidance and as mentors to younger riders, Cylance-Incycle p/b
Cannondale, will continue to focus on the North American professional
cycling calendars.

There is not a criterium podium in the country that Karl Menzies, 39,
has not been a part of in the last 11 years. The Australian rider was
teammates with Cylance-Incycle p/b Cannondale team Director Sportif,
Hilton Clarke for 6 years. “It is easy to see why I would want to
bring Karl’s valuable experience and positive attitude to the team”
says Clarke. “Menzies is a loyal teammate and will be able to guard
and guide our sprinters to great success, as well as keep them smiling.
I am proud to have him on the team.”

Eric Marcotte, 36, is a former USA Professional National Road and
Professional Criterium Champion, as well as a practicing chiropractor
based in Scottsdale, Arizona. “I’m grateful to get the chance to race
and work with these guys,” Eric said. “I always hope to be able to
contribute to the team’s success both on and off the bike. Looking
forward to the year ahead.” Marcotte is known for his incredible power
and ability to deliver some of the most strenuous results including
podiums at Tour of Gila, Winston-Salem Cycling Classic, and Reading 120.
“Eric has an amazing ability to target major events and deliver”
says Clarke. “He is one of the most professional riders with an
amazing attention to detail. I look forward to him sharing his knowledge
in nutrition and training with the younger riders on the team. And even
putting my back straight after the long day behind the wheel!”

Scott Law, 25, is a third generation cyclist and began his career in
endurance track racing. Law has been Australian National Champion,
Oceanic Champion, and World Cup Medalist in track events such as the
omnium and team pursuit. Transitioning onto the road, Law won two stages
of BC Superweek in 2016. “I truly believe Scott is going to be the
new sprinter on the block in the US next year” Clarke states.

By building the Cylance-Incycle p/b Cannondale team roster with these
riders, mentorship and growth will be a catalyst for success, making the
art of bike racing inspirational to all athletes, on and off the bike.
