2012 Roubaix Espoirs – The Last Kilometer

This weekend saw the 2012 Under 23 edition of Paris-Roubaix, Roubaix Espoirs, run & won by Bob Jungels of Leopard-Trek. The great people at thelastkilometer.com?were there shooting a video following Ignazio Moser, son of three time [W:Paris-Roubaix] winner Francesco Moser. It really was “a sunday in hell”, sunny & hot as well as very dry & dusty! After 90 kms of the 180 to be done, the peloton exploded: after every cobbles sector riders were so exausted… and they still had to do all the 2nd half of the race! Ignazio Moser is tall & strong, like a bul, however this year he was not strong enough. Coming soon will be the video of the day, with a narrative of the story of these two generations of cyclists, and we’ll have it here!
