Oliver’s Real Food Racing has named its 14 man squad for the 2016 season which will get underway from January 1 at the Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic in Geelong.
The roster announced reflects the teams development and progression into a truly national level team, with riders from Adelaide, to Melbourne and Canberra joining the squad founded in the Hunter region of NSW.

The 2016 Oliver’s team will also boast 3 New Zealand riders in its ranks, with the return of Logan Griffin to the team after a season with search2retain Cycling, joining Hamilton duo Ryan Christensen and Nick Reddish for their second season with the team.
“Our kiwi contingent is a result of the international racing we have participated in, all three possess different qualities and all are very talented, it is great to have them for 2016, especially with our desire to compete in more racing as a team in New Zealand” Layzell said.
Oliver’s will continue in 2016 with Seight Custom Cycling Wear as clothing supplier, and welcome Karl Michelin-Beard and Rowan Dever from the Seight National Road Series team to add experience to the Oliver’s roster.
Focus Bikes Australia will remain the teams bike supplier, the fourth year the German entity will be associated with Oliver’s. The team will race on the Cayo frameset in 2016.
?The team will be in action from 1-4 January at the Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic, followed by the Australian National Road Championships in Ballarat from 6-10 January. It will be then off to New Zealand for the team’s first UCI classified tour, the New Zealand Cycle Classic from 20-24 January.
