Paris-Corr?ze Offers Possibilities For BMC Racing Team

What could be two distinctly different races at the two-day edition of Paris-Corr?ze provides the BMC Racing Team with a host of possibilities, Assistant Director Max Sciandri said.

Blythe, Lodewyck For The Sprint

Sciandri said Wednesday’s 168.1-kilometer road race is an opportunity for the team’s breakaway specialists or sprinters while Thursday’s 170.2 km race is one more for the stage racing specialists. “We have a lot of options to play for both days,” Sciandri said. “The bottom line, though, is we’re looking for results. And the riders we have can definitely deliver.” Swiss national road champion Martin Kohler is one of those breakaway specialists, Sciandri said, while Klaas Lodewyck said he’s looking forward to the race coming off a third-place on Stage 4 of the Tour de Wallonie. “These extra two days of racing can bring me again to a higher level,” Lodewyck said. “After Wallonie, my legs are feeling better every day and I hope Adam (Blythe) or I can make a good result in the sprint.”
