The revelation of the Dauphin?, Wilco Kelderman, has extended his contract with the [W:Rabobank Cycling Team] for one more year. The contract with this young talent will now last up to and including 2014. Technical director Erik Breukink is pleased with the extension: “We’re glad that he’s chosen us.” Wilco Kelderman had a contract up to and including 2013; that has now been amended and extended by one year. Kelderman: “Last year I moved up from the continental team to the pro team. The first half of the year was all about settling in, but I’ve been well taken care of and now feel super comfortable. The Rabobank Cycling Team is the biggest team in the Netherlands – I’m very happy to be riding for them. This extension expresses a lot of faith – that is good for me.” Erik Breukink is pleased with the contract extension for this highly talented rider. “Wilco is a talent that we are keen to help advance in his development. He’s already shown some nice results on the road (he won the white jersey in both the Tour of California and the Crit?rium du Dauphin?), but he’s still at the beginning of his career. We are happy that he has chosen to extend his stay with us.”
