Forget the slopes of Europe, the pave of Belgium or the roaring characters on the sidelines of a US based race – Ballarat is now etched on the cycling map. ? Over the years the Mt Buninyong course and location has had it?s critics, but results and atmosphere presented during the previous week speaks for itself. ? ? Nothing says Australia like a BBQ for a great cause! ? The course produced two fantastic champions in the Senior?s races in Peta Mullens and Heinrich Haussler.? The men?s podium alone also challenged the belief that Mt Buninyong is a climber?s course.
